Central government agreed the Telangana government proposal to replace the prefix TS with TG on vehicle registration number plates in the state. The change will come into force from today, i.e. Tuesday.
The proposal to change the State code was initiated by the new congress government, saying that during the Telangana statehood agitation people of the state raised slogans with TG prefix.
