Without dismissing the earlier governments industrial development plans, the incumbent Congress government led by Revanth Reddy proposed mega master development plan for industrialization.
According to Revanth Reddy, the government is working proposals for friendly industrial policy. He assured the members of industrial body that his government committed to offer industry-friendly atmosphere and guarantees for every paisa invested in the state. In fact, he said, his government will encourage entrepreneurs coming to invest in rural areas.
Dismissing the apprehensions that the new government may scrap the Pharma City proposals, Reddy said the government will develop Pharma Village abetting to ORR apart from connecting to 12 national highways. However, his government is committed for pollution-free environment within the pharma village and also proposed to develop infrastructure like schools, hospitals etc.
Stressing the need to provide employment to the educated youth in the state, the Chief minister proposed to develop food processing, automobile units, organic farming cluster etc., as part of the industrialisation.
