Creativity: The Hallmark for lawyering

Lawyers are in trauma business. Thus, a lawyer must be creative, which is hallmark of litigation business. Creativity is, as such, a skill that a lawyer has to have. It is a foundation for ideas and solutions, which often buried in law schools. Law is understood as extension of education and not basic education.  

In fact, the law schools never encourage hobbies, out-off the box thinking, etc. One of the good habits: book reading and writing. But in reality, a lawyer experience various symptoms such as depression, anxiety and stress etc. but he will not get any training in their curriculum that how one can come-over of these functional disorders.

According to studies, the people working in the trauma business would necessarily receive training to counter these job related psycho disorders like traumatic stress, stress related disorder, fatigue, burnout etc. They should be taught strategies for avoiding such disorders.

In the absence proper training most of the youngsters are leaning towards hazardous habits. Today, the legal system turning more complex as more data and technology is available, in order to face the competition and to stay in the profession the lawyers must improve their skills practicing through creative methods.

A good lawyer is one who can find solution to difficult problem, which may not be apparent in these days of rapid changing times. Hence, creativity is crucial for problem-solving lawyers, who are in demand.
