Almost driven away from Telangana by K Chandrasekhar Rao, Nara Chandrababu Naidu again claims that he is back into Telangana politics. Addressing Telangana TDP leaders meeting at its erstwhile headquarters, NTR Bhavan, Naidu recalled that the Telugu Desam party started its political journey in Hyderabad four decades ago and he will take up restructure the party in Telangana shortly.
Naidu is in Hyderabad to have one-on-one meeting with Revanth Reddy over resolution of asset related disputes between both the telugu states, the AP Chief Minister said that the discussion will be furthered in the interest of people of both the telugu states.
Following joining NDA, Telugu Desam party is looking good prospects in the State of Telangana as it can leverage the BJP’s popularity in the state, both the parties would gain largely and give tough fight to Congress in all the coming elections.
Naidu’s entry into Telangana politics sent shudders in congress circles. Responding to the development Congress leaders say that this is BJP’s strategy to revive TDP in the state. In fact, most of the leaders joined Congress from BRS are once upon a time sailed with TDP. The TDP sources say these leaders may join back in TDP thus strengthen the party in the gross roots level.
Interestingly, BJP was successful in bringing alliance between TDP, Janasena and BJP in the Andhra Pradesh, which turned running success.
According to the political observers, the political landscape in TG will be consolidated in the coming GHMC elections. The communities attached to the political parties are seeing prospects that are spread in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, where BJP fared considerably in the earlier Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile, the working committee of BJP will have a extended meeting on July 12 to deliberate on the elections results of Lok Sabha and Assembly.
