Economy looks grim, commodity prices are raising, BJP campaign says border intrusions are raising and Modi only can control it. Notwithstanding all these negatives how the ruling NDA show-up confidence?
The immediate answer would be, BJP and its allies are depending on the Hindu Vote. Even as neutralism is prevailing across the length and breadth of this vast country, today India is identified as country of Hindus. And undoubtedly, Modi is considered a Hindu leader who is distained to protect and propagate the principle of ‘sanathana dharma’, which grouped almost all the Hindu religious “mattas, pitas and akhadas” come together this time in order to give a “third” chance to Modi government.
The issue of Hindu party is continuously gaining ground as we are moving toward voting and BJP’s campaign slowly and consistently raking up the Hindu sentiments. In fact, the people of this country, more so, the NRIs and Indian Origin people are expressing their support openly their acknowledgement to BJP’s image creating exercise across the globe, India as Hindu state.
It may be difficult for its opponents to swallow the growing image of BJP especially after the party could able to drive the concept of using Bharat as an alternative to India in the international arena.
While it is so, the Prime Minister candidate, Narendra Modi, once again promoting the key slogan “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sambka Vishwas”. It explains the idea of ‘inclusiveness’ and in almost all the pre-poll surveys conducted, the concept of inclusiveness is being endorsed by the people without any reservation.
Social and economic issues are slowly taking back-seat and mostly people turning to Modi for solutions. In fact, the opposition is broken and in no state the opposition is united as the congress party’s hard bargain keeps some of the regional biggies to go alone.
Issues like Art 370, investigations by ED, CBI, Income-Tax and DRI are being highlighted by the opposition against the NDA government and people are not felt any reason to consider these issues and these issue trouble BJP combine marginally.
In all, the basis election issue this time, Hindu State and projecting it as the state for Hindus in the eyes of the global powers. And the common citizen is looking himself to play his role in the international platform.
